You wont find any red eyes to close by destinations. I do see same day SEA-BOS-SEA on 12/8 for $20 cheaper than SEA-ORD which will get you more miles in your acount. I'm not sure how much your rounding up but SEA-ORD-SEA is only 3430 EQM mi round trip while BOS is 4974 EQM. Thats a big difference. Especially redeemable miles with the MVP bonus wil get you 2316 mi closer to your next award trip
