Need 4000 miles to make gold - this a good flight?
I live in Alaska but have the situation of being in Seattle for medical treatment on Dec 7, 8, and 9. If I could fly some RT red-eyes on the nights of the 7th and 8th, of about 1000 distance, I could both make gold and save on hotels (provided I can find a shower somewhere....). If I can cancel the appt on the 8th, I can do a RT SEA_ORD at $139 one-way.

Any suggestions - or is this just crazy? I fly down the morning of the 7th, afternoon appt., then afternoon apt. on the 8th and again on the 9th.

Cheap night flights to LA or Denver?
