Interesting that this is the question that I actually came here to ask details about...

I'm at this property since Sunday, and so have had 2 breakfasts so far. Yesterday I forgot to mention I was diamond and so I ordered off the main menu. Then when the bill came I mentioned status and the bill was taken care of.

Today I remembered to mention that I am diamond and so they brought me a little 'special diamond' menu that was really sad in terms of offerings. So I asked if I could order from the real menu as a diamond comp, and was told yes, but only up to $26. So I ordered eggs benedict, coffee and juice, which quickly went over $26, but when the bill came they told me to 'not worry about it' as a diamond, and again it was taken care of.

So it seems that the 'special' menu is still just a gimick to try to fool diamonds into ordering really lame items while we are really allowed to order whatever we want from the main menu. I don't know though if there is actually suposed to be a limit of $26, because I always book for 2 people, even when it is just me. So perhaps that is why I seem to be able to go over the limit.
