I am uber p-off at the moment becuase they wouldn't let me into the lounge at munich with a boarding pass that said *gold and a the duplicate Continental Gold card that you print from the website. They said they would not accept it because it didn't have a date on it. I told them this was billed as a legitimate "duplicate" card by continental and if they had a problem with the credentials issued by the partner, they should take it up with their partner not with the customer. I escalated up two levels of managers and still the same answer. Logged in on my iphone and showed them my online status as well, no dice. I might also add that they were quite hostile. Not sure who I complain to about this at the moment, but I am steaming mad at the moment. I would have just connected on another carrier if I knew it was going to be such a nightmare.
