I missed a connect in DTW (SEA-DTW-BDL) yesterday as well due to a mechanical on the inbound. The IRRPOS handling was top-notch, they gave me $16 in meal vouchers, the Embassy Suites, and 10k miles, all without prompting.

DLmatic did book me on the next days' DTW-ATL-BDL instead of the first DTW-BDL direct.
