I have rented dozens of times from the aisle in San Francisco, and have seen nothing resembling a minivan (or anything close). I think you are putting way too much belief in their marketing group that you will turn the corner and find as many makes and models of cars as you can possibly imagine.

You will probably find a half dozen or dozen of the same car in different colors.

If you want the minivan, or any other car, you should rent what you want and not hope for it in the aisle.

Keep an eye out for free upgrade coupons between now and then, that may help you move up a level or two.
