One airport cannot place you on another's list...you have to be there and ask for it. There is no way to do this by phone or otherwise.

So, once the automatic upgrade time has passed you're on your own at each airport. It does put connecting pax at a distinct disAAdvantage as the others at your connecting airport will most likely get on the list ahead of you. That's when status really counts
