Curious whether/ how often a front desk rate beats not just BAR but also any government, AAA, or prepaid rates that may be offered at spg.com. I'm talking mainly about U.S. Starwood properties, where the guest is a first-time or occasional guest.

If so, is it usually a last-minute, same-day thing, or do advance front desk rates sometimes beat the best spg.com rates?
