Disagree. The airlines aren't going to say zip. Some of the crew may object as the 'layers' of security pile up and take longer, but airline management couldn't care less. TSA just keeps piling it on and folks still keep flying. Doesn't matter that some folks stop flying; the numbers show that enough are flying to keep airline management happy. I don't think the airlines would blink twice at the idea of telling pax to arrive 3 hours early for a flight because of security.
The airlines might balk as they would be looking at increased payroll costs if check-in opened at 3 am, no? (or maybe not, I have successfully avoided domestic pre-dawn flights for years so no first-hand experience)
