Oh come on... I am sure nobody disagrees (not even BA apparently) that the original seat assignments were - to put it mildly - not that well thought through. I can see how any parent would find it annoying if their child was in one of the middle seats next to a stranger. I would find it annoying too if I was that stranger to be honest....
I fully agree. In the middle seats, usually assigned to couples - it isn't going to be pleasant for stranger or child. This is a ridiculous assignment.
