The other week I was flying from CLE-IAH and was sitting in my seat waiting for them to finish boarding. A United pilot came on who was using it to get to Houston I guess and was sitting a few rows behind me. He couldn't find a spot to place his bag so the female flight attendant took it and really warmly said "welcome to the family!" and the pilot gave a really mean look and just kinda walked to his seat. I felt awkward for the FA but I hope everyone warms up to it after a bit.
