Another issue to consider is whether to get her own SPG AMEX now or hope that another 30K promo will be coming along soon. Conventional wisdom seems to be that cc companies are being more aggressive in going after good risks (see the present 75K Citicard AA promotion, for example). Perhaps the 30K SPG AMEX promotion from this past summer will reappear at some point soon. Or maybe something even more aggressive?
