And I'm speculating/guessing that there are two main reasons: the entry into the delay-prone airports and as
formeraa stated above, having too many aircraft flying routes like MDW-CLE-BWI-STL-LAS-LAX-PHX-SEA.
In my experience, the planes that shuttle around CA, AZ, NV are pretty much 100% on-time...all my delays involve planes that work their way here from back East.
