I have been able to get into the site once, yesterday afternoon. All other attempts have been met with 'loading' for up to 10 minutes and then I give up).
From what I remember from my one visit, the booking process has indeed improved. But otherwise the information is horribly vague and difficult to extract:
Go to 'SAA experience' and look at the seat map. Are your eyes (and the resolution of your screen) good enough to see anything useful? And no, you can't enlarge it anymore like you use to.
Go to 'fare classes' (or someting like that, unfortunately I can't check - 'loading' for at least 8 minutes now). 'This fare group earns modest or no Voyager miles'. For crying out loud, is it now a state secret how many miles you get? Why not a table that shos that you get ZIP for a "G" fare, 100% for "Y", 150% for C etc etc.
How can they mess up like this? They could look at 100 airline websites and just steal the best features of all of them and come up with something really good.
The Voyager part of the site is still as low functioning as it used to be.
