Seeking employment in Denver, CO, USA
Today was my last day of work, and I am now unemployed pending immigration to the USA (visa on hand, now it's just packing and other things related to winding up here in Tokyo). If anyone has any good job-hunting tips to spare (that are not related to web searches or job sites), or know of any open positions, please do think of me.
In the meantime: I am seeking employment in Denver, CO, on a permanent, contract, project, or temporary basis, and will be available for interviews in Tokyo up to November 16 and in Denver from November 18. I have work permission in the USA (immigrant visa/green card).
I am literate, well-traveled, speak two languages fluently (English and Mandarin), am functional in 3 additional languages (Cantonese, Malay, Japanese), and have very little problem with jet lag. I'm good with computers and pick up most skills fairly quickly. I have experience in banking, education, and sales, have conducted a few small (less than 10 participants) seminars, and I also have some minor (unofficial) project/event management experience.
I would love any job leads in Denver involving international travel (preferably sales or consulting, and preferably to Asia). I am also open to telecommuting positions as long as they allow me to reside in Denver when I'm off-duty (eg. as the local functionary for a company seeking a presence in Denver). Resume etc to follow.
