quick stay report
had 2 night stay this past week...
Check-In
As RogerD408 mentioned, the hotel lobby area is going through some type of renovation. Front-desk said it will take until end of October.
Upon arriving at the make-shift counter, standard greetings. After pulling up my reservation, got my pre-made keys from a box and directly me to the elevators around all the "construction." No mention of amenities or club lounge.
Room
On the 6th floor facing the highway. Gosh it was loud if you turned off the A/C unit. Standard Sheraton fare. Flat Screen TV, workdesk, sweet sleeper bed.Bathroom is standard size.
Internet through ATT, which was down most of the time I was there. (Internet charges removed; i'm going to assume for all guests that "tried" to log-on because it literally took about 3 minutes for just google.com)
Did i mention it was loud? Got to get a room on the other side facing the mall. Pick your poison, loud A/C unit or the 580.
Lounge
Lounge is on the 6th floor at the end of the hallway. The entrance to the club is a little awkward running directly into the table against the "tea/coffee" station. Afternoon happy hour had one hot item and snacks. Had a very friendly lounge attendant.
Breakfast in the lounge had two hot items, and the standard continental items.
Other
Fitness room had good machines with individual TVs but geez did that room smell like a sewer line broke or something. Outdoor pool w/ (im not sure) a jacuzzi. Did not try the restaurant/bar but was fairly full the 2 nights i was here.
Overall
Not your top of the line Sheraton. Standard stuff. Service okay. Front Desk Staff could be friendlier, but ok for the most part.
