But if you drive up the road you can do CLT-DFW-SAT on 6 Nov, grab some TexMex and return the next day for $238. If SAT isn't your thing it works for AUS as well.

AUS allows a same day turn for $255 thus saving hotel.

Not cheap but it's the best I could find.
