I'm by no means seasoned in ways of international F travel (Done only AA, UA, and LH), but I found LH 747 (EWR-FRA) to be fine. I was travelling solo and lucked out on the night flight over and had an empty seat next me, but on the return flight it was a full house. I didn't really even notice the gentleman next to me and doubt he noticed me. I think it's all about who you get.

I also found it more private than the Flagship Suite on the AA 772. In the window seats I always feel like my head is sticking out into the aisle when fully reclined. On LH at least when fully flat your head/torso are ensconced in the seat. UA's is a nice blend of both concepts, I think.

In absolute agreement though that LH F shines on the ground.

One thing I am also sure of is that this was a very well done trip report. Thanks for taking the time HIDDY.
