You only need to go through security again connecting to and from Satellite E gates E20-E35.
Most but not all of the American Eagle flights leave from the Sat. E gates, the rest from gates D1 to 10??

This is incorrect.
Half of the E gates are inside of security with the rest of the terminal (about E1-E10 or so). Usually domestic flights and the near Caribbean depart from these gates. It is only higher E outside of security.
American Eagle....
all Eagle flights depart from gate D10 (doors A through F). D10 is at the end of the useable D concourse, down escalators into a waiting room. Flights are called to doors A through F, then board busses to go to the aircraft remote parking (at the end of the D concourse construction).
Even those to the Bahamas depart from D10, and those arriving from at least Nassau and Freeport (where there are US immigration/customs in the Bahamas) arrive at D10.
