Some recent ones ...
W Boston - Booked a Wonderful room, received a Mega Room (kind of weird with two Queen beds and a large amount of unused space)
Sheraton Commander - Booked a traditional room, received a corner junior suite that looked like it had new furniture and linens and was a lovely room
Le Meridien Philadelphia - Booked an executive room, received a one-bedroom suite. Nice, spacious suite with two TVs and a nice view. Interesting vibe to the hotel but still a few issues that I would attribute to being new
W Walkerhill Seoul - Booked a Wonderful room, received a junior suite with a huge red bath-tub and separate shower and a circular bed. The bathrrom must have been 1/2 of the room and was amazing
Westin Chosun Seoul - No upgrade
Westin Chicago River North - Upgraded to Club floor, fairly large room
Westin Chicago North Shore (Wheeling) Was originally upgraded from Traditional to a Club Level King but room was not ready when I checked in, so I was upgraded to a junior suite with a large glass shower (not sure why I wasn't upgraded to this room initially?). They are notoriously stingy with upgrades
Westin Napa - No upgrade; no alternative amenity for resort fee, issues with housekeeping, poor service, etc
Sheraton Palo Alto - Booked traditional room, received Club level King that was basically a junior suite with two tvs a large seating area and a really lovely deck with two chairs and a table overlooking the Poi fountains
Those are all that come to mind over for now ...
