I talked to another agent today and she said that local M15 card swipers do not recognize free transfers from SBS's just like a local M15 didn't accept a free transfer from a Limited M15. She said the swipers are the same and have not been replaced to recognize an SBS swipe. So I asked about the bus driver LOOKING at the receipts. She said no way, that's not their job. When I asked her to explain that as I pointed out the free transfer written in the brochure, she said she didn't know.

I'm not going to swipe for a receipt unless I see the blue lights.

My trip from 79th to 34th used to take as little as 30 minutes and as long as an hour. The two times I've taken SBS, I've gotten there in about 15 minutes. It actually does the job and should be recognized for that.
That's great. What time were these two trips? I ask because as you know there are only 3 lanes open on 2nd Ave due to the endless subway construction and the traffic there is a nightmare.
