Yea, I thought the same thing too. Sometimes it can happen I guess. I mean I have been on almost empty FC cabins from FAR-MSP, DTW-FNT, DLH-MSP where a silver and companion may clear but on most routes over 1 hour long I think it would be tough. I actually had to go to the Delta.com Medallion benefits page to see if Silvers got companion upgrades.....I just remember last year when I was a Continental Platinum Elite that Silvers did not get companion upgrades...only Gold and Platinum...I think it is cool that Delta offers Companion upgrades for Silvers, that is a really nice perk when it happens.
