Did you like the Sheraton Society Hill? I thought it smelled a little funky in the hallway.
don't recall the smell but there is nothing great about the hotel....i stay there because i'm walking distance from where i want to be in philly....i hate the parking charges here....they are pretty steep....
Re: India, why refuse suite upgrade? Curious cos I am interested in going to India for my 60th country visited.
because of the luxury tax....10% of the rack rate if you were upgraded to a suite....if i was on vacation then i would pay it....but when traveling for work it didn't make sense....i am out of the room most of the time & i never stay more than a day or 2....
