Ah! Thank you for that brilliant post! That makes absolute, complete and total sense. What is astonishing is that I did play around with that some months ago. If you TELL the Multi-City screen "only non-stops" (because the user knows there is a non-stop flight for that city pair), I believe it wont go ahead and force connections anyway (even if you select Search by Fare instead of Search by Schedule).

I should play around with the Multi-City screen and see what I can come up with.
