You get lounge access according to the class you're travelling in. It makes no difference whether you paid full fare or on an award. You cannot and will not be moved to a F lounge.

So really, what is the big deal in maybe sitting out there with the masses without making such a fuss? Sure the lounge gets crowded...

There have been many times that I actually solace and peace by not going to the lounge!
