NOt horribly important, but back at the end of Sept I got a Hilton/AA promo saying that Hilton stays for Plats in the Minneaplois area (they provided a list) for the next 3 months (I believe) would get 1000 AA miles. There was no code or instructions given - just the announcement of bonus miles during the promo period. I stayed at the Eagan Hampton, but only 100 miles posted.
I contacted AA CS are they were very helpful into looking into such promos, but couldn't find anything. (I had since tossed the mailing, as have enough papers lying around.) I am going back to MSP (after a week in OGG on our first AA Vacations - Yay!) next weekend, and wouldn't mind getting 1,000 miles with my HHonors points.

Have any of you received this? I can not understand why this promo mailing would "disappear." The 900 miles is not a huge concern (and the Eagan Hampton is very nice, with free wireless broadband, etc.), but I am a bit confused.
