Hi Everyone,

Relatively new to posting on this forum, but I could not find a similar post using search.

I am at 124K MQMs, and for various reasons, have decided not pursue DM for next year, and instead want to rollover 49K miles toward 2011 status.

I called Delta, and was told I could not "refuse" DM status if I went over 125K.

I estimate I have about 15K miles of remaining travel for this year.

Is my only way to implement the strategy is to fly another carrier in cattle class? Or, could I fly Delta for the upgrade possibility and then switch the mileage credited to another Skyteam carrier if the upgrade clears? This would have been my approach when CO was part of Skyteam.
