I am in a similar situation. My DO companion is bailing out and I will be attending solo. I will be arriving at ORD tomorrow morning and commuting to the DO from downtown Chicago each morning. Any suggestions on how to get to the DO hotel from the Blue line or ORD? I am thinking to just find the hotel shuttle from the airport as if I was staying there, but don't know if there will be complications.
I would also like to be sponsored to the RCC for the drink chit DO, but my UA flight arrives at 9:15am unless I get bumped. Probably arriving too early, but feel free to PM me if anybody will be around for a RCC meetup tomorrow morning.
