Also, I've always thought of Jersey lefts as "jug handles" (as opposed to "Michigan lefts," which are another animal entirely, as they do not make those big loops).
I heard a lot of folks in the Bay Area referring to "the 101" during my visits out there, but I don't know that it's quite as ubiquitous as SoCal.
