First, since you "just" made EXP, are you sure you are talking to EXP agents? It took about a week for the tel system to recognize my status and transfer to the right desk.

I don't think there is a right time. I found my special AAngel and I know the agents schedule, so I only call when I know AAngel is working. If it's an emergency I try to reach a backup AAngel that I remember as a good agent from previous calls. EXP agents will give you their full names, try to remember them and write down the ones that gave you good service. It may take some time but eventually you will have some favorites, at which point you could ask for their schedule and if needed ask for them exclusively. That's the nice feature of EXP desk, you are allowed to ask for a specific agent.
