I've read mostly positive reviews from folks that have done the Corregidor tour, so it is a 'for sure' item. I don't know as I haven't been yet, but I don't really see a big benefit from staying overnight. Out of couriosity, how long was the boat ride to the island?
No big benefit for staying overnight but I believe they do offer night tours of the tunnels during Halloween. The ferry ride is about 1 hour, I think. The tour includes buffet lunch, too.
The same company that offers the Corregidor tour also offers a Manila bay sunset cruise.
