I think I remember large rollaboards being taken off passengers at the aircraft door and being loaded into the hold. As I said, some of the Comair aircraft have smaller overhead lockers which will not take normal size rollaboards. No harm in trying, but don't be too surprised or disappointed if it is put in the hold anyway.
