Hope there are some croatia experts here..

We are planning to go on a trip to the Plitvice lakes in Croatia in the weekend of 24th October..We basically want to see the lakes in its amazing fall colours.. We have seen some snaps of it completely yellow/orange and different colours ..
What I want to know is it a good time to go to Plitvice in that week if we want to see the fall colours when its most beautiful or would you suggest some other weekend ??
We will be goin in car from vienna and hence plans can be adjusted ..

Any idea on the above is appreciated
