Looks like my Platinum days are numbered. Made a reservation on points at the Sheraton Tel Aviv for 5 nights in May. Called the Platinum Concierge to book double points for a suite and she had problems pulling it up. Finally she decided to call the hotel directly and they told her it's a no-go, even tho suites are available for sale on the website.

Obviously I must be wrong but I thought double points got you a suite - period. Anyone have any luck at this property using double points for a reserved suite? Many thanks for any feedback.
