There were quite a few threads around that particular glitch at the time - not worth going over old ground explaining what we think was going on because it has been fixed. Just take it as a given that for quite a while, a discount CE LHR - CDG was costing £200 and a discount CE EDI-CDG was costing £500 - £600 because it was adding on the J domestic instead of one of the discounted fare buckets. The prospect of paying more for a 50 min, single class cabin flight with no food than for a similar length CE flight just filled me with delight...

And LiviLion, think it was your thread I found confirming that R is a domestic add-on as well.
