Agree that the food is amazing - easily the best in Miami. They also avoid using local, compromised produce (such as GM rice) and fly in Basmati from India or Jasmine from Thailand etc etc.

Although the views are terrific from the residential tower, I don't like these apartments. They are, IMHO, badly finished. I much prefer the hotel proper, despite the lack of views (as it is set right back from the beach).

The 'scene' at cocktail hour around the internal courtyard and reflecting pool is straight out of CSI Miami. Indeed, 'Horatio' is often to be seen there, hands on hips and clad in shades.
