If you want to pay full fare, then go ahead. But this practice of offering 'specially discounted' fares is prevalent in asia. It happens with SQ, MH, sometimes CX.

Honestly, if I were you, I'd forget about TG and take instead QR which IMO offers better fares ex-BKK to the destinations you want to go, and their Business Class blows TG's out of the water.
