I've read mostly positive reviews from folks that have done the Corregidor tour, so it is a 'for sure' item. I don't know as I haven't been yet, but I don't really see a big benefit from staying overnight. Out of couriosity, how long was the boat ride to the island?

There's an official tour service at the dock, where they launch the boats to go to the volcano, but there will be people around the area offering the tours for cheaper price. Once you get to the island, there are also horses for hire if you do not want to walk to the crater.
thanks for the hired car feedback
maria_sienna. so the other folks at the dock have their own boats to get to the island volcano? also, do you recall how much the horse hire was?
