Booked prepaid rate (which was about 10-15% off best flex) at IC XXX.

Presented old BOGO at check-in. They really dont want to refund money if they can avoid.
They first asked if I could use the BOGO later, as it expired in oct I declined. They suggested they could honor it later (presumably with no expiry at that hotel). I declined this as well. It would mean pay 3 get 4.
They finally offered 1 free night later at that IC. Which would mean pay 2 get 3.
Fair offer?
I would say give me 2 free nights, that means pay 1 get 2 (or in this case pay 2 get 4) equalling 50 %. Which is what BOGO is for. So im reliefing them the refund hassle, for literally giving me a double BOGO (and not only 33% off).
