i have been with my bank for over ten years, the last time i applied for credit was the start of this year for a credit card and got instantly accepted thats what i cant get my head round that they have declined me
The only thing I can think off like Prospero has said above. Maybe they cant find your home address or your employers address.
There arent too many searches. If you are close to the limit on one card transfer a bit to the others, that might help. I dont know salary, but maybe you are on the limit for credit / salary.
Try to give them a call and see if you can appeal.
Or you could always try to apply for the green charge card see if this goes through. If it does you are building a credit history with amex.
