Also have you tried to get credit / accounts elsewhere in the past 6 months. This causes a footprint on your credit file, that can cause banks to get upset.

it just said on this occasion you have been unsuccesful bla bla bla....
i have been with my bank for over ten years, the last time i applied for credit was the start of this year for a credit card and got instantly accepted thats what i cant get my head round that they have declined me
