I can't get over paying more than £8k to stay in 3* hotel

Shirley the flight is a whole lot less important than the hotel, especially given BA F isn't really much better than NCW (imo).

If it was me, I'd spend a little less time looking for F luggage tags and a little more finding a decent hotel.

Each to their own I suppose. Hope you have a great holiday anyway!
