Starting half a dozen different threads all relating to the same straightforward trip may maximize the number of responses for the OP, but at the expense of other threads: people don't have time to read everything so the more threads there are, the less each one with get read. So "more considerate" is the phrase I would have used rather than "easier". And frankly I think it just looks a bit attention-seeking have so many new threads for one little flight.
This has happened a few times and I've commented on this before;
gaz68 isn't the worst offender because not all the threads are about the same issue. But really, two of them are about 747 vs. 777 issues and could be merged, and two others are about F check-in and baggage tags and could also be merged or better yet deleted on the grounds of breaching Flyertalk guidelines on excrutiating dullness.
