I'm not sure what the big problem is. AA has only been doing the LAX/SJC-PHX run for the last couple of years. Prior to that, they had no westbound service from PHX, nor did their partner Reno Air. While I'm sure it has been convenient for a few of you, obviously, not too many since they axed it without much care, what did any of you do previous to the last couple of years? Who did you fly on then? Why not go back to that. Or, worst case scenario, fly United or America West on that very short segment and then transfer to AA. I'm sure that not all of your eggs are in just one basket. You all must have affiliation with some program that you could put those 500 base miles you will get from PHX To LAX in. The world hasn't come to a screeching halt.
