If I was a OW partner of AA’s like CX and with JAL joining next year I might be asking some questions like we are asking here. This issue, coupled with no affordable status miles between NRT and HKG, has me looking into non UA alternative comps. If they kept the LAX and SJC service I would stay but unfortunately I do about 70K a year and I need to pick my battles before the years end.
