Thanks for everyone's feedback...I appreciate that. It is just striking me as odd that they have this distinct wording in the rate-rules, especially the word "purchases".

The trip in question is a trip with the misses, so I want to have things run smoothly, and a discussion at Checkin whether I get access to the lounge or not would not exactly be my cup of tea at that time...

So if anyone has recent experience with this property, I'll be very much interested in that...
