Hi all,
I am new to United (former AA loyalist), and have just a brief question. I wish to book w/ miles a IAD-Lisbon, Barcelona-IAD ticket on partners.

Is an open jaw allowed? Also, can I book my outbound at 330 days and then hold that for up to 14 days for the return to become available like AA?

I'm sure these questions have been asked and answered before but a search only brought up a thread from 2008 that wasn't quite on point, and for some reason the filter on my computer (at my volunteer job) is blocking the FAQ thread.
