I was trying to figure out how to get the maximum number of miles for a YYJ-YEG route for later this month. Playing with multi-city the other day showed that I could route through YVR and YYC, with the YYC-YEG segment available at no extra cost. I should have booked at the moment, because now the multi-city tool is charging me for the YYC-YEG segment, upping the cost by $160 or so.

Anybody got any bright ideas on how to maximize the mileage on this route, and whether this is a known oddity for the multi-city tool? I don't use multi-city much, so I'm willing to believe this was a glitch either way...
