The good:

Lounge is open (if crowded) both early and late and is a model for what a lounge should be.
Location, location, location.

The quibbles:

First nonsmoking room we were assigned smelled STRONGLY of smoke. We were moved next door to an identical room that had no odor.
'Upgrade' consists of a regular room with a laptop. Basically no platinum room upgrade at all. I didn't force the question, though, even after I realized I was not given a platinum amenity card either (which I DID go get once I realized I had not been given one). Yet they KNEW I was plat as they told me all about the lounge. Sooo... I am left with the impression that Plats should not expect an upgrade at this property.

Since it was Saturday we took the KAL bus from ICN, and traffic was not bad until we hit city center. About 75 minutes total.

Westin Chosun 'upgrade'?
