Any professional IT team would surely be able to configure / test etc a new system / site on an off-line development server and then copy the whole lot across in a few hours during the night. But not SAA, the airline is disconnected from the world for TWO DAYS! Wow!
couldn't have said it better! The site went down during the week, but clearly the work was too much, and it seems like they decided to retry this weekend.
